Crafters of Faith July Blog Hop

I can't believe we are at the end of July, where oh where did the summer go?  I'm thrilled to be able to share a card created with a Tiddly Inks image, Salty Kisses for the monthly Crafters of Faith Blog Hop.  Kelly is hosting our challenge this month and she chose "water" as our theme with extra brownie points for using blue.  I created this card for my granddaughter's 13th birthday and for the Tiddly Inks design team call.  And now...I can also use it for this month's COF hop!

I fell in love with this image, who could resist this gorgeous mermaid?  I used my Copic markers and this divine summery paper from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Please take a moment  and visit my blogging sister's blogs and see their creations.  They are listed on my sidebar.  Wishing everyone a blessed day!

More Summertime Fun!

Greetings friends and followers!  I'm sharing another card today designed by Mabelle and sold at the Craft's Meow.  I just love these fun summertime kitties!  This makes me want to grab my pail and shovel and head to the beach.

Summertime Fun

I made this for my oldest granddaughter's birthday, she's quite the cat lover!  I colored this cutie with my Copic markers and used this summery patterned paper from  Little Yellow Bicycle, "Making Waves".    I used my Creative Memories wave border punch, cut a frame with my Cricut and added these adorable buttons from Michael's.

Whimsy and Stars Design Team Showcase

Welcome to another Whimsy and Stars Design Team Showcase featuring a new digi image from the Whimsy and Stars Studio, "New Arrival".   Now who could resist this darlin' new bundle being delivered by the faithful stork!

I decided to create a "onsie" card to showcase my image:

I couldn't resist adding some lace and I am so in love with this new design paper, "Hootenanny" by My Minds Eye.   I used my trusty Copic markers and my Viva Decor Pearl pen to create the pearl embellishments.

Just a Little Stampin Up

I love Stampin Up products and today I want to share with you a birthday card I made using the Secret Garden set.

This is such a versatile set and was perfect for a birthday card a friend wanted me to make.  I love the matching dies that make this so easy to cut.  I used a white gel pen to outline my flowers and add dimension to my leaves.  I used a pearl pen for my flower centers and one of my favorite embossing folders.  The next time I used this set I am going to try embossing the flowers with white embossing powder.  I can see me using this set a lot!

Stay cool today, our temperatures are already in the nineties.  Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Whimsy and Stars Design Team Showcase Today!

Welcome to the Whimsy and Stars Design Team Showcase featuring a new digi image from the Whimsy and Stars Studio, "Together Forever".   I can just imagine the strains of the Wedding March and a beautiful couple ready to bind their hearts together.

My bride and groom are displayed on vellum and cut out to give more depth.  I colored them with Copic markers and twinkling H2o water colors.  I used Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight die and added a silk ribbon, Maya Road stick pen and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts.  For a finishing touch, I added pearls made with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

Thanks for visiting today, please visit my design team sister's blogs and see their fabulous creations!  I hope you will leave a comment on the Whimsy and Stars blog, one lucky winner will receive a prize!

Celebrate Summer!

Today I'm also posting on the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog sharing two of Mabelle's new summer digis, "Floaty Boy" and "Floaty Girl" with you today.   When I first saw these, they reminded me of my grandchildren... just like fish in the water all summer long!  I just had to have these for two July birthdays.

Floaty Boy

Floaty Girl

I colored both images with Copic markers and used some new patterned paper I found recently, "Hootenanny" from My Mind's Eye.  Just give me bright colors that pop!

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Blessings,

God Bless America!

Happy Birthday America!  Celebrations are being planned all over our nation to observe the 4th of July.  Families often celebrate Independence Day by hosting or attending a picnic or barbecue.   There are lots of parades, displaying of the American flag and the colors red, white, and blue displayed everywhere!

Well, I couldn't let today pass by without displaying my patriotism on my blog,  I am honored to present Whimsy and Stars' "God Bless America" digital image:

May you have a day full of happiness and blessings!  Thanks for visiting and don't forget to show your colors today!
