Whimsy and Stars

I hope everyone is having a blessed Easter.  My craft room has been a work in progress all month long but is in the final stages of renovation.  I could finally dig through my "stuff" this weekend and find some supplies.  I would also like to share with you today two cards I have created for Whimsy and Stars Studio:

Molly with Cupcake

Faith Flowers

Both digis were colored with Copic markers.   I used Basic Grey design paper for "Molly" and Magenta Designs for "Faith".   I did make the ribbon flower on my last card and decorated with a Prima center.

I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today and that my cards put a little smile on your face.  I love reading your comments and appreciate all the kind words and support!

Crafters of Faith March Blog Hop

Good morning and Happy Easter!  It's once again time for our Crafters of Faith Blog Hop.  Jeanette is hosting our challenge this month and she gave us just one requirement:

"Since March 31st is Easter, create a religious-themed Easter card - no Easter bunnies and such, a card that focuses on the Risen Lord.  It can include Scripture and/or images, but needs to focus on the religious aspect of the holiday."

Rejoice

Please take a moment and visit my blogging sister's blogs and see their creations.  They are listed on my sidebar.  Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter and "Rejoice For He Lives"!

Spring is Calling

I truly hope " Spring is calling"!  We have had wet weather all month and the temperatures range from the thirties to the sixties.  It's almost like mother nature is not sure what she wants to do about Spring yet.  I truly think the groundhog was confused this year too.  We had snow after his prediction and I've always know March can have some pretty tricky weather.  I was born in the middle of March during a teriffic snow storm.  Yesterday I was comfortable without a coat and today is strictly coat weather.  I have this lovely digi and sentiment from Create with TLC's "Calling You" collection.  The design paper is available from Paulette's website as a freebie!

Spring is Calling
TLC digi sentiment and image, plus free design paper, SU punched flowers, Viva Decor pearl pen,
Spellbinders die cut and Martha Stewart border punch

I did combine the image and sentiment using Photoshop on my computer.  I love the little bird using the vintage telephone.  I chose this basically CAS design because my craftroom is all torn apart!  I have replaced my older storage with some new storage shelves and it's hard finding anything I'm looking for right now!  I really need to get back in there today and start organizing.

I hope everyone has a fabulous day, the sun is actually shining here and I hope to get outdoors today.  Thanks for visiting my blog!

Whimsy and Stars March Blog Hop

Greetings and welcome to another  Whimsy and Stars Studio blog hop!  The design team has been busy creating new cards to share with you featuring Maybelle's new March digi releases now available in her store.  Two lucky random winners will be chosen to receive ONE Digi stamp of their choice.

Welcome Spring was just the perfect digi for me to use for the hop, I am so looking forward to Spring and this beautiful stamp is so tantalizing!  I can almost smell the flowers and feel the soft green grass.

I used Crate Paper's "Farmhouse" and Bo Bunny's "Double Dot" design paper.   My image was colored with Copic markers and distress inks.    I used a Stamping Up punch, a Magnolia fence die and Memory Box dies.   My cardstock is from Stampin Up, DCWV and Georgia Pacific.

Thank you for hopping with us today! Your next stop on the hop is the talented  Melissa's blog.  Don't forget to leave a comment at each stop on the hop to increase your chances of winning a digi of your choice!

Here is the entire blog hop list in case you get lost along the way:
