Anniversary Card No. 2

I just love this vintage romance digi from Create with TLC.   I added a round heart doily from Bird's Cards which I love with the design paper from Authentique's "Uncommon" collection.  A ruffled bow and pearl drops complete the  card:

I also used another anniversary sentiment from TLC on the inside:

I cut my card shape using my Grand Calibur and Grand Labels 1 Nestabilities.  The card shape is cut with the die extending over the edge of the cardstock fold.  In order to retain the original shape, I cut an additional panel and glue to the front of my card base.

Thanks for visiting, I love reading your comments and appreciate all your support!

P.S.  if you hurry over to Paulette's blog, you still may be able to grab the free vintage digi!

Have An Amazing Anniversary!

Now how did Paulette at Create with TLC know I needed an anniversary card?  I thought this word art sentiment would be elegant cut out with Spellbinder's Fleur de Lis Square die.  The design paper is from My Mind's Eye "Miss Caroline" collection and the flowers and fronds are from Marianne's Designs. Can you believe it, no coloring on this card!!!

What Are Your Other Two Wishes?

I love this rubenesque fairy created by Mo Manning and she seemed the perfect choice for this delightful sentiment from Create with TLC!   Just click on the picture to get a closer look.

My fairy was colored with Copic markers and I sponged distress inks around the edges of the image and sentiment.   I used my Grand Calibur and the Grand Ovals die from Spellbinders to make my card.

This was fun to make, especially when you can pair the right image and sentiment together!

Grumpy Monday

This really sums up how a lot of us feel on Monday mornings - grumpy!  This super cute sentiment is from Create with TLC and as soon as I saw it I thought of this digi called "A Grumpy Gnome!" from Meljen's Designs that I have been holding for just the right card:

The look is pure grumpiness, in fact my dear hubby says he modeled for this digi, LOL!  Well, since the grandkids affectionately call him "grumpy" I guess he's right.  And speaking of "right", this is the perfect sentiment for him too!

I hope I have started your Monday off with a chuckle.  If you know of someone who is always right, you might want to swing by Paulette's store to pick up one of these.

Thanks for visiting, I love reading your comments and I appreciate all your support!
