Aack!!!

Do you ever have those days when you just want to grab your hair, grit your teeth and let out a really loud scream! Well this was my reaction when I arrived home last night. I was all ready to sit down and post on my blog for Tuesday when dh told me our "beloved" cable company had been working down the road and "clipped" our cable in the process. I live in a rural area and they are forever cutting our cable or having outages. One summer, we went without connection for two whole weeks! I checked their rating nationally, and no wonder they were at the bottom of the list. Thanks for letting me rant. They obviously rerouted last night so I have connection this morning. I have another Gorjuss Girl I would like to share with you. The Basic Grey "Windermere" dp from the "Porcelain" collection seemed a perfect match for this image. I also used SU cardstock, embossed with my Cuttlebug and added an embossed Prima flower. I absolutely adore these little girls!
A Little Birdie Told Me
I can't wait to ink up more images, but there's so little time and so many stamps I want to play with! Do you ever feel that way to? Well...off to my play room (I mean craft room)!

I'm Back With a Gorjuss Girl!

Hi everyone! I had no idea I would not post on my blog for an entire week. I had major computer problems last week - my laptop suffered a very serious error and I spent several days backing up files and restoring my computer. After that, my email experienced a very serious windows error and I lost all my personal files (.pst). So...I've been pulling out my hair trying to get everything up and working. Finally - I see daylight at the end of the tunnel!
I received my first Gorjuss Girls last week from Funky Kits - they are just too adorable! This is my first card and I just love her in blue. The dp is from Basic Grey's new Wisteria collection - I believe this is one of their most stunning collections ever! I finally got my hands on some of the embossed flowers from Prima and I cut my photo corner with a Cuttlebug die.
Purrfect Friend
I have missed lots of posts so I hope to visit some of your blogs soon and play catch-up. Being a week behind is so overwhelming, especially with all my favorite blogs and groups to visit. I also had lots of cards to finish and I will be sharing some of these this week. It's great to be back, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my computer will now behave for a while!

Chewable Aspirin Anyone?

Happy Sunday morning! I made this card yesterday for my dear sister-in-law. She suffered with a mini-stroke last week and is still in the hospital. We will be going to see her today and I am taking this card to cheer her up. This is from the House Mouse collection and is entitled "Chewy Aspirin". I used my Cuttlebug, nesties, an embossing folder, die cuts and a Martha Steward punch. I colored with my Prismacolor pencils and my Copics. The dp is from Basic Grey's Marrakesh collection. I looked at my card again this morning and thought it needed just a little something else, so I added buttons and applied dew drops to the center. I really adore this image and I hope it will get a smile from her. Let me know what you think!

Rope Swing Sugar Nellie

Hi everyone! I'm just glad I was able to post a card today on my blog! I spent 3 1/2 hours on the phone with tech support checking out my laptop yesterday. Thankfully, it has recuperated and I'm playing catch up. I have been wanting to make a card with this cute little stamp since I received her. I used my Prismacolor pencils and my dp is from Basic Grey's Porcelain collection. The sentiment is from Verve.

This was such a fun image to work with! Please let me know what you think!

Two New Tilda's

The dust is finally settling. We had a fantastic Easter, my daughter and four grandchildren spent almost an entire week with us and left yesterday. They had a blast playing with their four cousins -getting lots of rays and fresh air, exploring the farm and intimidating my two dogs. I love seeing them all get together and building such great memories. Needless to say, I have not had a whole lot of time to blog or even make cards, LOL! I did "help" my little troop to make some cards, they are mesmerized by my craft room - all the gadgets and glitter, a treasure trove just waiting for them to dive into. I have two new Magnolia's to show you, Tilda with bunny and Tilda with lamb. I used my copics to color and DCWV design paper. These are all ready to be adhered to cardstock. Please let me know what you think!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Happy Easter Card!

As promised, here is an Easter card for today! These cute little bunnies are from House Mouse. They are called "Happy Hoppers" and the name of the stamp is "Excellant". Aren't these just the cutest! Coloring is of course with my Copics and the dp is from DCWV's "Nanna's Kids". Hope you will let me know what you think!

Two Tilda's

I have two new Tilda cards to show you! I actually made these on Monday, but things have been so crazy around here, I just now found a few minutes to post these to my blog. My daughter and four grandchildren arrived Monday afternoon and while chaotic, we are having such a great time! My first Tilda is "Tilda with Puppy". I just fell in love with this image - the puppy is too cute! I colored with my copics and used my Martha Stewart punches to dress up this card. The dp is from DCWV's springtime collection. I embossed with my cuttlebug and cut my ovals out with nestabilities. The cardstock is PTI's sweet blush and the sentiment is from MFT.

My second Tilda is "Tilda with Ladybug". I challenged myself to use the green and orange color scheme, although I can't say orange is one of my favorite colors. Again, the dp is from DCWV's springtime collection, I colored with copics and used a MS punch to create my border. The CS is PTI's spring moss. The sentiment is from SU's circle of friendship.

I hope to post an Easter card tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Morgan and Weston!

I cannot believe my twin grandchildren are 7 years old today! Time passes so fast - one day they are cuddly babies and the next they are in school and evolving into the adults they will one day become. I chose SU's unfrogettable for Weston's card - I don't know what it is about boys and frogs, but they all love 'em! My dp for both cards is from Papertrey and my cardstock is SU. I also colored both cards with my copics.
This cute little pony and hedgehog is a Penny Black stamp I've had that just saw ink for the first time. The name of the stamp is minding shelty. Morgan is always asking for a horse so I thought she would love this!
I'm glad their birthday is on such a beautiful spring day here in NC. The temperature is just a little cool, but perfect for jumping on the trampoline (no not me, just the kids!). I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!

New Whiff Of Joy

I actually created this card last night, sorry to be posting so late today! I used all sorts of tools on this card, nestabilities, Martha Stewart punches, EK success threading water punch and I embossed with my Cuttlebug. This time I colored my image with my Prismacolor pencils.

This WOJ image is "Willow Sitting With Floral Wreath" from the spring kit. She was a delight to color and very easy to cut out. I used DCWV's spring stack for my dp and SU for my cardstock.
